Struggling with work from home when kids are home sick

How do you guys handle this? Got two kids home with a stomach bug and I've got back to back meetings today. Wife is at work so it's all on me. Trying to keep them entertained, answer emails, and jump on calls. Feeling like I'm failing at both right now. Any tips?

This is the worst scenario. Back to back meetings with sick kids in the house is just stress on stress. Can you move any of them or get your partner to cover part of the day?

Mute button becomes your best friend. Seriously though headphones in one ear so you can hear if someone needs you. Not ideal but it's survival mode.

I've learned to just be transparent with my team. One kid threw up during a call last week and I just owned it. They get it. Kids are sick, life happens.

The stomach bug combo is no joke. Honestly with back to back meetings you might need to push some stuff. Your boss would rather you reschedule than have you half present anyway.
