Taking paternity leave next month and nervous about falling behind
Got 8 weeks lined up and I'm excited but also worried. My team is small and I know they'll be understaffed. Been here 6 years and don't want them thinking I'm not committed anymore. Logically I know I'm entitled to this and it's not that long but the anxiety is real. Anyone else dealt with this?
I felt the exact same way before I took mine. Here's what I learned: your team respects you more for having boundaries, not less. And you'll fall behind at nothing that matters.
