Thinking about going remote - advice?

Got offered a remote position at my company with a slight pay bump. My current job has me commuting an hour each way so I'm basically gone before the kids wake up and back after dinner. The remote job would let me be here more but I'm worried about blurred lines between work and home. Anyone doing the remote thing? How do you actually separate work hours from family time when your office is in the bedroom?

Night shift here so I get the commute struggle different, but if you can cut two hours from your day and stay employed at your company? That's a no brainer. More time at home is everything.

That commute is killing you. Remote work let me actually eat breakfast with my family instead of scarfing down coffee in the car. Pancake shapes on demand beats sitting in traffic any day.

Do it man, that extra two hours a day with your kids is huge. I went remote three years ago and honestly it changed everything about how present I can be. The pay bump is just the cherry on top.
