Took paternity leave and best decision ever

Just wanted to share because not a lot of guys talk about this. Took 6 weeks when my daughter was born last month. First two weeks were rough with sleep deprivation but weeks 3-6 were amazing. I actually learned how to be a dad instead of just helping my wife. Now going back to work feels hard because I bonded with her so much during that time. If your company offers it, take it. Don't worry about what people think. This time won't come again.

This is huge man. I took 4 weeks when my second was born and it completely changed how I see my role as a dad. The bonding with your daughter is one thing but honestly the confidence you build in those early weeks is invaluable. More guys need to hear this.
