Took paternity leave and best decision I ever made
Just got back to work after 8 weeks with my newborn son and I'm having all the feelings. That time was sacred man. I got to be there for all the firsts and bonding in a way I missed with my older kids. My company was cool about it but now I'm realizing how much I'm gonna miss. Anyone else struggle with going back after being home? How did you handle the transition?
Eight weeks of bonding time that you can't get back. I'm so glad you took it and I'm even more glad you're acknowledging how huge that was. A lot of guys don't let themselves feel that or admit how special it is.
