Took paternity leave and it was the best decision ever

Just got back from 8 weeks with the new baby and man, I feel like I actually know my son now. The first weeks were brutal, lots of sleepless nights and figuring things out, but I got to be there for all of it. My wife and I tag teamed everything and we're actually stronger for it. Company was supportive which helped a lot. If you're on the fence about taking paternity leave, do it. You won't regret it.

Eight weeks is incredible. Most guys don't get that chance. How does it feel being back at work now that you've actually bonded with your son?

That first 8 weeks is so crucial. I missed it with my first and regretted it. Glad you got to experience it this time around.

This is what I'm looking forward to when my second comes. That time to actually be present instead of juggling work calls and feedings. Sounds like it was worth it.
