WFH is saving my sanity but my boss thinks I'm slacking
Been remote for 6 months and honestly my productivity is way up because I'm not commuting 90 mins a day. I can actually have lunch with my kids. But my manager keeps asking about my "commitment" and wants everyone back in office 4 days a week starting next month. This is going to destroy my family time and frankly my mental health. How do you guys handle pushback from leadership on remote work? I feel like I have to choose between career and being present.
Working nights here and I totally get it - being there for lunch is everything. Document your wins and show your boss the numbers. Hard to argue with productivity gains.
