Working remote has saved my sanity

Started WFH 2 years ago and I'm not gonna lie, it's been a game changer. I get to eat lunch with my kids, be there when they get home from school, and I'm actually less stressed because I'm not commuting 90 minutes a day. My company is now threatening to make everyone come back to the office 3 days a week. I'm seriously considering looking for another job. Anyone else feel like remote work is non-negotiable now?

Remote work has been perfect for us. We can actually get outside more after school instead of being stuck in traffic. Totally get why you're so happy about it.

That lunch thing is huge. Being there to see them come home from school beats any promotion I could get at the office. WFH has been a total game changer for us too.

This is real. I'm still going into the office most days but honestly jealous of the WFH guys. Do you find it harder to disconnect at the end of the day when your home office is right there?

Same here man. Being able to grab lunch with my kids instead of sitting in traffic has been huge. Plus I can actually be present for the little moments without feeling like I'm missing everything.

WFH saved my life too when my first kid was born. Being able to jump in and help my wife during lunch breaks made those early months so much more manageable.
