Working remote has saved my sanity
Just wanted to share a win. Been remote for 2 years now and I genuinely feel like I have my life back. I can make my kids lunch, help with homework, and be home before 6 most nights. The guilt I used to carry about missing stuff is basically gone. Yeah some days I'm juggling calls while my 5yo asks for snacks but it's real life. Anyone else found that remote work actually improved your family situation instead of making it worse?
Two years in and you're still riding that high, that tells you something about how good it's been. Being available for your family without sacrificing your career is the dream scenario.
Same here and it saved my marriage honestly. Being home for the kids and actually knowing what's going on during the day made a huge difference in how I feel about everything.
