10 years ago I had zero responsibility, now look at me
Just realized the other day that a decade ago I was pretty much just focused on myself. Slept till noon on weekends, spent money on stupid stuff, went on random road trips whenever I felt like it. Now I'm up at 6am no matter what, thinking about college funds and whether my kids are getting enough vegetables. I don't regret it but man sometimes I miss just being able to think about myself for more than 5 minutes straight. The funny thing is my 3 year old will probably go through the same thing someday and I'll be the guy telling him to enjoy being selfish while he can.
Same. Ten years ago I was sleeping till noon on Saturdays and now I'm up at 5:30 AM making lunches. Wild how much changes when you become a dad.
