5 years ago I was a different person

Used to be the guy who stayed out late, went to concerts, had spontaneous road trips planned on weekends. Had my whole identity wrapped up in being independent and free. Then my first kid was born and everything changed. Now my idea of a wild Friday is staying up past 10. Honestly though? I think I'm happier now. The freedom thing felt empty after a while. I gained something real.
