Anyone else angry about losing their spontaneity?
This is a rant. I hate that I can't just text friends and say 'drinks tonight?' anymore. Everything requires negotiation with my wife about whose turn it is, babysitter costs, bedtime schedules. My social life went from 'go with the flow' to 'spreadsheet management'. Some days I resent it hard.
Welcome to parenthood. Your spontaneity got traded in for being the responsible one who has to arrange childcare before leaving the house. It's the deal we made.
