Became a stepdad and it changed everything

Was a single guy living kind of carelessly for years. Met my girlfriend, things got serious, and now I'm helping raise her two kids. I went from doing whatever I wanted to having actual responsibilities and people who depend on me. It's exhausting and amazing at the same time. I used to sleep in on weekends and now I'm making pancakes at 6am. I miss some of my freedom but honestly I wouldn't trade it. The kids call me dad now and that hits different. I'm a completely different person than I was 3 years ago.

Stepdad life hits different once you really commit to it. Bath time chaos is part of the deal now, but you'll find those moments where it all makes sense. Congrats on the new chapter.

Stepdad life hits different. You're suddenly responsible for someone else's kids and you want to get it right. Respect for stepping up and embracing that change. Your girlfriend must see something really good in you.
