Fitness journey from dad bod to actually trying
Started at 245 lbs three years ago, couldn't walk up stairs without getting winded. Now I'm 185 and running 5ks. What changed was my mindset. My kid asked me to play tag with him and I had to sit down after 5 minutes. That hit different. I miss eating whatever I want, but I gained energy and confidence back. Plus my kids actually want to do stuff with me now instead of watching me sit on the couch.
This is exactly the motivation I need. I'm somewhere around that 245 range right now and the stairs thing hits home. How'd you manage to make it stick with work and kids in the mix?
