From 280 pounds to running a 5K with my kids - what I miss and don't miss

Before kids I was depressed, overweight, and basically gave up on myself. Now I'm down 60 pounds and actually active. Last month I ran a 5K and my daughter was at the finish line screaming my name. It's weird because I miss some stuff about the old me honestly. I miss sleeping in till noon on Sundays and not having to plan every meal around picky eaters. But I don't miss feeling like garbage every day or hating myself in photos. The trade off is more than worth it. My kids think their dad is strong and that matters more than sleeping till noon ever did.

That's absolutely huge man, congrats on the transformation. My kids definitely keep me more active than I'd be otherwise, even if I'm still working on the fitness part.
