From bachelor mode to actual responsibility - what a change
Five years ago I was sleeping til noon on weekends and eating cereal for dinner. Now I'm up at 6am making packed lunches and thinking about college savings plans. Honestly miss the freedom sometimes but there's something different about having three little humans depending on me. Never thought I'd be the guy actually caring about interest rates and insurance policies. Wife jokes that fatherhood made me a real adult finally.
The 6am wake-up hits different when it's not your choice anymore, right? But man, those packed lunches become kind of a thing you take pride in. Totally worth trading the noon wake-ups for.
