From Corporate Drone to Stay at Home Dad - 2 Years In

Left my job as a marketing manager last year to stay home with the kids while my wife went back to work. Best and hardest decision I've ever made. I miss the paychecks and honestly the adult conversation. I miss going to the gym whenever I wanted and not having to pack 3 bags just to go to the grocery store. But man, I don't miss the 6am commute or pretending to care about quarterly reports. I've gained so much more patience, I can actually cook now because I have time to learn, and I get to see my kids grow up. My oldest just read her first book yesterday and I was there. That's something my old self would've missed.
