From couch potato to actually running 5Ks
Two years ago I was 40 pounds overweight, my knees hurt all the time, and I couldn't play with my kids without getting winded. Started running (barely jogging at first) and it changed my whole life. Not just physically. My confidence came back. I have energy again. My kids see me working toward something hard instead of just sitting around. I still can't believe I'm the guy doing races now but here we are.
This is awesome and honestly one of the best things you can do for your kids. They need to see their dad healthy and active. What got you started on the 5K goal?
