From Couch Potato to Marathon Dad
Six years ago I was 280 pounds, didn't leave the house much, spent my nights gaming and drinking beer. My kids were born and I just... woke up one day and realized I was missing everything. Started running just to keep up with my 3 year old. Now I'm down 85 pounds, ran my first marathon last month, and my oldest asked me to coach his soccer team. I miss the zero responsibility mindset sometimes but honestly? I don't miss that guy at all. He wasn't happy either, he was just comfortable being miserable.
Dude this is awesome. Your kids must be so proud watching their dad do that. Did they get involved in your fitness journey at all or was it more your personal thing?
