From couch potato to running a 5K at 42
Three years ago I could barely walk up stairs without getting winded. Now I just completed my first 5K race. Sounds simple but it changed everything about how I see myself. I'm not 'the out of shape dad' anymore. I'm someone who can do hard things. My kids watch me train and ask if they can come running with me. That would have never happened before. My wife says I'm happier. I feel like I got my life back.
Dude, massive respect. I know with four kids it's hard to find time to take care of yourself, but seeing someone actually do it and stick with it for three years is motivating. How'd you find the time to make it work?
