From party guy to stay at home dad and honestly I'm happier

Pre-kids me was out every weekend, sleeping in till noon, hitting the bars with buddies. Now my idea of a good Saturday is farmers market, park, home made pizza with the family. My old friends think I'm boring but I genuinely don't miss that lifestyle. I have a purpose now that feels real. Don't get me wrong, I still get out sometimes and it's fun, but coming home to my kids hits different than any night out ever did.

This right here. I get my kids half the week and those farmers market mornings hit different now. The party scene never gave me what a good Saturday with my kids does.

Man that's awesome. Being out every weekend sounds fun in theory but nothing beats actually being present for your kid's life. You figured out what matters.
