From single guy to dad of three. Everything is different.
Ten years ago I was sleeping until noon on weekends, going to concerts whenever I wanted, working late without thinking twice. Now I'm up at 6 AM on Saturdays making pancakes, my idea of a wild night is staying up to watch a playoff game, and I know all the words to every Disney song ever made. Honestly I miss some of the freedom, especially being able to travel or just be spontaneous. But seeing my kids' faces light up when I come home from work hits different than anything I experienced back then. I wouldn't trade it but man, that version of me feels like a different person sometimes.
This hits different when you're living it. I went from sleeping until 10am to being up at 6 with the kids. But honestly? I wouldn't go back. Those concerts were cool but nothing beats watching my three grow up.
