How becoming a dad changed my priorities completely
Used to be all about my career. Worked 60 hour weeks, weekends, always on my phone. Missed my oldest's first steps because I was in a conference call. That hit different when he turned 2 and barely knew me. Took a step back, restructured my job, now I'm home for dinner most nights. Making less money but living so much more. Time is the only thing you can't get back.
This is hitting me hard because I'm still kind of stuck in that 60 hour week mindset and I can feel the weight of missing stuff. Did you have to make a real change to your job or did it just happen?
