I'm finally a morning person and I hate it
Three years ago I was that guy sleeping until 8:30 on weekends, barely making it to work on time, constantly exhausted. Got diagnosed with sleep apnea, got treatment, and now I'm naturally waking up at 5:30am feeling great. Should be happy right? But I miss sleeping in. I miss the old me that didn't have a rigid schedule. Now I'm up before everyone else and there's this weird pressure to use the time productively or something. I've started running and reading but honestly sometimes I just want to sleep until 9am guilt free again.
This is huge because now you're probably way more present for your kids on weekends instead of zombie mode. That's a real win.
