I'm not the guy I was before kids and I'm okay with it
Used to be all about staying in shape, meal prepping, hitting the gym 5 days a week. Now I'm lucky if I get three workouts in and I've definitely put on some weight. I miss having that routine and feeling fit but I don't miss the obsession with it. Now I run 20 minutes when I can fit it in, throw a ball around with my kids, and honestly feel better mentally even if I'm not as jacked. Different version of healthy I guess.
Same here. Used to run marathons and meal prep like it was my job. Now I'm happy if I get a workout in twice a week and we eat something green. But my kids think I'm the coolest guy alive which is better than abs.
