I'm not the same person and that's actually okay
Got some perspective this week. I realized I'm not the guy who stayed out till 2 AM anymore and that used to bother me. But then I watched my daughter learn to smile and I'm like... okay yeah I'd trade a thousand late nights for this. I'm softer now. More patient. Still me but like a better version I guess. Anyone else have that moment where you stopped grieving who you were and started being grateful for who you're becoming?
I'm still figuring out who the new version of me is, but I think I'm starting to like him better. Different priorities now.
