I used to be the guy who never wanted kids and now I have three
Five years ago I was completely different. Travel, late nights, no responsibility, and honestly I thought having kids would ruin my life. Met my wife and everything shifted. Had our first kid and something just clicked. Now I can't imagine my life any other way. I don't miss the old me at all. The freedom I thought I needed was actually just emptiness. Anyone else have this total identity flip?
People don't get it until you have them. My buddies used to give me crap for bailing on late nights out and now they're starting to get it with their own kids. The shift is real.
Same exact journey here. Five years ago I would've said you were crazy. Now I genuinely don't want to miss stuff. The weird part is how fast it happens.
