Left corporate rat race to be a stay at home dad
So I made the jump last year. Was making good money in finance but was always stressed, never home, missed everything with the kids. My wife had a good stable job so we decided I'd stay home. First few months were weird, felt like I lost part of my identity honestly. But now I'm building a new one. I'm more present with my kids, our family is happier, and I'm doing some freelance work from home that pays enough. I miss the paycheck and the corporate title less than I thought I would.
Dude that's awesome. Congrats on making it happen. Still getting used to the slower pace or are you finding new ways to stay busy at home?
