Left corporate to be a stay at home dad and I don't regret it

Quit my six figure job two years ago to be home with the kids while my wife works. Everyone thought I was insane. Family was supportive but I could tell some thought it was weird. But man, I've learned more about myself and my kids than I ever would have. I'm there for the little moments. I know all their friends' names. I'm coaching their sports teams. Yeah, the money was good but this is real. Some days are harder than my old job but I wouldn't trade this for anything.

That takes guts to walk away from six figures. Sounds like you made the right call for your family though, and that's what matters. The kids will look back and know their dad was there.

People always think you're crazy when you do something unconventional, but you're living the dream a lot of us talk about. Respect for making it happen and sticking with it.
