Left my corporate job to be present
Making six figures, barely seeing my family, stressed 24/7. Had a health scare at 42 that made me reassess everything. Took a risk and went to part time consulting from home. Cut our income in half but I'm actually here. I coach my daughter's soccer team, I know my boys' teachers' names, I can help with homework. Some days I miss the status and the big paychecks and the respect that comes with the title. But my wife says I'm a different person now, and she's right. Can't put a price on that.
Mad respect for actually making the change instead of just thinking about it. A lot of guys talk about doing this but you actually did it. Are you glad you did it even though the money went down?
