After my second kid was born I ballooned to 280. Just accepted it as dad life. Then one day I couldn't keep up with my boys playing football in the yard and something clicked. Started at the gym, changed eating habits, whole thing. Dropped 60 lbs over a year and half. Sure, I fit in my old jeans again. But the real thing? I have energy. I'm not tired all the time. I can actually play without getting winded. My confidence came back. Don't regret a single workout even though those 5am gym days were rough. Miss sleeping in but not as much as I missed being the version of myself that could do things.
