Lost 120 pounds and I don't recognize myself
Started at 310 this time 3 years ago. Couldn't tie my shoes or play tag with my kids. Doc said I was heading for a heart attack. I started just walking 15 minutes a day and cut out soda. That was it at first. Then I got serious about it. Now I'm running a 5K next month. My knees don't hurt, my back's better, I have energy. But honestly the hardest part is my brain still thinks I'm the big guy. Buying new clothes has been weird.
Dude that's amazing. What was the biggest shift for you, diet or exercise or just overall lifestyle change?
