Lost 80 lbs and Became the Dad My Kids Needed
I was overweight, depressed, out of shape. My kids were embarrassed to go places with me. Started working out 5am before they woke up, totally changed my diet. Lost 80 pounds over two years. Now I'm actually able to play with my kids without getting winded, hike with the family, be active. The physical change was crazy but the mental shift was bigger. I feel like a different person. What I miss is sleeping in on weekends but what I gained is actually liking myself again and my kids seeing their dad as someone strong they can look up to. Best decision I ever made.
This is incredible. Seriously, congrats on the 80 lbs. That takes real discipline. How did you get started? I've been thinking I need to make some changes but don't know where to begin.
