Lost 80 pounds in 18 months, barely recognize myself
Started at 280 and I'm at 200 now. Been a weird journey because like I'm obviously happy about it health wise and my kids definitely noticed, my oldest actually said I look like I could play sports again which hit different. But there's this strange part where I feel like I'm still the big guy in my head sometimes. Got clothes from my old size hanging in my closet because I can't throw them away. My ex mentioned I looked good recently which was awkward in the best and worst way. Anyway just wanted to share that it's not just about the number on the scale.
80 pounds is legit incredible work. That takes real discipline especially juggling dad duties. You should be proud regardless of how you feel about how you look.
