Lost 85 lbs and my kids don't recognize their dad
Started at 285 lbs about 3 years ago. Was always tired, knee hurt, couldn't play with my boys. Decided to actually do something about it instead of just complaining. Gym 5 days a week, diet change, the whole thing. Now I'm 200 and my oldest literally said I look like a different person. Miss the convenience of eating whatever I wanted but my joints don't hurt, I have energy, and I actually enjoy being active now. The crazy part is how my confidence changed. I'm not bitter about the time I wasted, just glad I did it while the kids are still young so I can be in their lives longer.
Dude this is the kind of post I needed to see today. I'm sitting here at my desk with a coffee and I can't remember the last time I played tag with my kids without feeling like I was dying. Did you do anything specific for your knees or did losing the weight just take care of it?
