Lost the Body, Found Myself

At 28 I was hitting the gym 5 days a week, had abs, the whole thing. Three kids later I'm 35, carrying an extra 40 pounds, and I honestly don't miss it that much. The time commitment was insane. Now I grab 20 minute runs when I can and I'm cool with it. What I gained is way more valuable than what I lost. Took a while to accept that though.

Real talk - at 28 I had the same setup going. The gym, the routine, all of it. Now I'm just trying to get a 20 minute walk in before the chaos starts. You're not losing yourself, you're just redirecting. That's growth.
The carrying thing gets me. You're still strong, just in ways the mirror doesn't show. I bet you can haul way more kids and groceries and chaos than 28-year-old you ever could.
