Quit my corporate job to work from home and it's been weird

Been doing this for 8 months now. Took a pay cut but I'm present for my kids which was the whole point. I'm at their soccer practices, I make dinner most nights, I see my youngest when he gets home from kindergarten. The money stress is real and I miss the structure sometimes. But watching my oldest do homework and being able to actually help instead of being exhausted all the time, that's worth it. Anybody else make this jump?

That's the real win right there. Pay cut is worth it if you're actually there when your kids get home from school. How's the work from home setup treating you otherwise?
Respect for making that call. A lot of dads talk about wanting to be more present but don't actually do it. The pay cut sucks but you can't get those years back with your kids.
