Realized I'm not the cool guy anymore, I'm the dad guy

Used to be the friend that everyone wanted to hang with, went out constantly, no responsibilities. Then my first kid was born and slowly everything shifted. Now at 38 I'm thinking about mortgage stuff, my kids' college funds, and I honestly prefer a quiet Friday night at home to going out. My old buddies still try to get me out and I feel disconnected from them now. It's weird grieving that version of myself while being so grateful for this one. Anyone else go through that identity shift?
