Went back to school and its completely changed my perspective

Started community college last year after being out of school for 12 years. Everyone thought I was crazy, wife was skeptical, but I needed something for myself that wasnt work or dad stuff. Turns out I actually enjoy learning and doing homework and all that. Getting B's and A's feels good. Im only 2 semesters in and I can already see myself doing something different with my career. My kids think its cool that dad is a student too. The hardest part is just finding the time to balance everything but its worth it.

This is awesome. I've been thinking about going back to school but felt like at this point it's too late. How are you managing it with the kids? That's the part that intimidates me.

That's incredible man. 12 years is a long time and going back at that point takes guts. What's the plan after you finish? And did your perspective on parenting change too or just everything else?

Community college is the move. Did it at 35 and changed my whole trajectory. The naysayers always show up but you just keep going.
