Went from couch guy to running a half marathon - my life is different

Two years ago I was 280 pounds, never exercised, living like my dad did. Now I'm 195, run 3-4 times a week, and just finished a half marathon. Sounds cliche but it literally changed everything. Started doing it for my health but realized I was really running from how unhappy I was. Lost weight, got stronger, anxiety went down, confidence went up. My marriage improved because I actually feel good about myself now. My kids see me as active instead of tired all the time. What I miss is honestly the laziness and bad habits because they were easier. What I gained is probably another 20-30 good years with my family. Worth it.
