Went from couch potato gamer to actually athletic dad - what changed
Had a health scare about 3 years ago and my doc basically said get moving or you're heading for trouble. Started going to the gym just to avoid thinking about medical stuff. Now I actually enjoy working out and I can keep up with my kids without getting winded. I still game but way less than I used to. Lost about 45 pounds. My knees don't hurt anymore. I miss having all that free time to just veg out and stream stuff honestly, that was easy. But I gained energy and my kids see me as someone who actually does stuff instead of just yelling at them from the couch. Plus the confidence is wild, it's weird how much it changes how you feel about yourself.
That's inspiring man. Three years of commitment is no joke. Are you doing something specific or just general fitness?
