Went from couch to running a 10k
Two years ago I was basically sedentary. Worked from home, sat all day, went to the fridge during breaks instead of the gym. I'm not gonna lie, the first few weeks of running were miserable. But something clicked around week 4. Now I'm actually training for races and my doctor says my blood pressure is the best it's been in years. What I miss most is probably sleeping in, lol. But I gained so much confidence. I feel like myself again.
Two years is a long journey. Respect for sticking with it when it would have been easier to stay on the couch. That's the kind of discipline that shows your kids what commitment actually looks like.
