Went from fitness nut to dad bod real quick
Had a six pack, worked out every single day, tracked macros obsessively. First two years of fatherhood? Forget it. Between no sleep and living on pizza and coffee I gained 40 pounds. Just started getting back into it and the gym feels foreign now. My old self would judge current me but honestly I don't have time to be that guy anymore. Found a routine that works with the kids and I'm okay not being that gym rat 24/7. Different priorities now.
Hey at least you had the six pack to begin with. Some of us never made it that far. Real talk though, being present with your kids in those early years is worth way more than the macros.
