Went from gym rat to dad bod real quick
Used to hit the gym 5-6 days a week, tracked macros, the whole thing. Was in the best shape of my life at 32. Then twins happened and I just stopped. No time, no energy, priorities shifted.
I miss feeling strong and looking good in the mirror. My back hurts more now. But honestly I don't regret it? Like yeah I could find time if I really wanted to but I'd rather be here. Some guys manage both and good for them but I couldn't. Maybe when they're older I get back into it. Right now I'm just dad bod and that's okay.
Same trajectory here. Best shape of my life got replaced with dad bod real quick. Now I'm just trying to stay active enough to keep up with the kids instead of looking a certain way. Different motivations entirely.
