Went from selfish to actually thinking about someone else

My buddies would say I was a pretty self absorbed dude before kids. Everything was about what I wanted to do, where I wanted to go, what made me happy. Had my first son at 32 and it's like I woke up. Suddenly there's this tiny human depending on me and you can't unsee that. I still do stuff I enjoy but it's different now. More purposeful I guess. Didn't expect that kind of change.
