What I miss about being single

Married 12 years now with 3 kids. Wouldn't change it but man I do miss sleeping past 630am on weekends. Miss going to the gym whenever I wanted without planning like a military operation. Miss being able to buy random stuff without thinking about it. Mostly I miss the spontaneity and the time with my buddies that wasn't scheduled 3 weeks in advance. But then I see my daughter do something that cracks me up and realize this is way better. Just sometimes you gotta acknowledge what you gave up right?

I feel this in my soul. I'd commit crimes for just one Saturday where my eyes open naturally after 8am instead of at 6:15 to cartoons blaring.

Man, at 3 months old I'm still in that fog but I'm already realizing those sleeping in days are probably gone forever. Sounds like it gets better though?

The sticker chart system has bought me maybe 30 extra minutes on Saturday mornings if I'm lucky. Still worth it to get them motivated for something.
