Working from home changed me and not sure if it's good
Two years into WFH now and I barely recognize myself. The commute is gone which should be great but now work just bleeds into everything. I'll answer emails at dinner. I work until 6 or 7pm because the office is ten feet away. Before I had a clear separation. Go to office, come home, be present. Now I miss that physical boundary so much. I've gained weight, my back is killing me, and my family sees me more but I'm also constantly stressed. The flexibility is great for emergencies but I think I need to move my setup away from the main part of the house or something because this isn't sustainable.
This is something I've been grappling with too. The thing is, when you're home all the time, you start noticing all the stuff you're not doing instead of stuff you used to do. It's a mind game sometimes.
