50/50 custody finally approved

After 18 months of fighting in court and spending way more money than I wanted to, the judge approved my 50/50 custody request. I get the boys for two weeks, she gets them for two weeks. It's going to take some adjustment for schedules and routines but I feel like I finally won something back. Ready to be a real dad again instead of a weekend visitor.

This is the way. Takes guts to fight through all that legal stuff but your kids are gonna benefit from having real access to both parents. Cheers to you for pushing through.

Congrats man, that's huge. 18 months is brutal but you stuck it out. Now comes the fun part of actually making the schedule work with everything else going on. Worth it though to have that stability for your kids.

Been there. The financial hit is real but you're gonna feel so much better knowing it's settled. Best of luck with the new arrangement. How's the transition going with the kids so far?
