Anyone else use Venmo to split costs with their ex?

just curious if this is weird lol. We use Venmo to split groceries and activities. Works way better than the spreadsheet thing we tried before. Instant record, less arguments about who paid what. We put the expense and kid name in the memo line so there's no confusion about what it was for.

Not weird at all. We do the same thing with my wife's ex. Way cleaner than trying to figure out cash exchanges and there's a record.
We use a shared Google Sheet instead but honestly Venmo probably works better if you both have it. Does she ever forget to pay you back or is it pretty smooth?
