Title says it. Does it actually make co-parenting easier or is it just another thing to check? We're still pretty civil so I'm not sure if we need the formal expense tracking and message archives or if that's overkill for us.
We're civil too and honestly didn't need it. The formal messaging stuff felt like overkill when we can just text. That said, I have friends in MESSY co-parenting situations and they swear OurFamilyWizard saves them because everything is documented and time-stamped. So it really depends on whether you think things might get messier down the road?
The thing about OurFamilyWizard is the archive stuff. If things ever DO go south, having documented conversations is clutch. But if you're already using Google Docs or a shared calendar and texting normally, you're basically getting the same thing free.
If you're still civil save the $100. You can use Google Calendar for scheduling and just text about stuff. We upgraded to it when things got spicy and THEN it made sense. No point paying for formal structure if you don't need it yet.

We use it mainly for expense tracking because child support calculations got confusing. The messaging part we barely use since we're chill. Might be worth trying the free version first?
